after a lot of pacing, and staring, and flipping, i read ‘twilight’, by stephanie meyers. everyone has been tripping over themselves and screaming “EDWARD CULLEN”, and i was afraid that i might start to lose my indescribable lust for the mighty boosh. i thought maybe edward cullen would replace my vince noir, my howard moon, but it turns out i was worried for nothing.
‘twilight’ is your basic teen vampire book, with the pretty girl who falls in love with the really old vampire who looks no older than she. edward cullen is the teenage novel’s stereotypical angsty love interest, and i was, perhaps, a little disappointed. i thought i would have to wrench myself back to my old loves.
i have an important essay due tomorrow, so i think i should start on that.
